Market Harborough Ukulele Group

Venue - Lydia's Coffee Shop
Date - Saturday 23th August
Time - 11.30pm
Description - Market Harborough Ukulele Group (MHUG) was formed in 2011 when a small group of friends met together in a local village hall to drink tea, eat cake and try to learn the Ukulele. They had all acquired ukuleles during the previous couple of years but had never got to grips with them.
From small acorns, mighty oaks grow! MHUG now has some 90 members with 30 to 40 of them meeting weekly in Market Harborough. They've now added cake to their menu and spend their time learning new songs and playing old favourites.
MHUG perform many concerts around the area and take part in a variety of events from care homes to music festivals.
The Gretton Music Festival welcomes MHUG for the first time with spokes person Ali Carver adding "We may not be the best musicians you meet but we certainly are the happiest!"
Free admission
