Hosted at many local village venues, The 2011 Gretton Music Festival features a full programme for every taste. This year’s programme already has the following events confirmed;
Friday kicks off with The Blue Bell featuring local talent with a new event "Unplugged & Thirsty"
Saturday sees Lydia's Coffee Shop hosting two events on the village green.
- Tiny Tots pre-school singing and dancing and
- A unique concert featuring local musician, Eirfon Jones and his Ukulele band!
Sunday sees more local musicians at the popular Sunday's Buskers Pitch. Plus Martin McEvoy is building on last year's successful “Anyone Can Sing!” master class with a "History of the Singing Voice". More details will be announced at www.grettonmusicfestival.com.
The evening continues with The Gretton Baptist Chapel repeating last year’s delightful “hit” with "Your favourite hymns”. It was packed last year and we expect the same again!
Finally Monday features two local pubs with The Hatton Arms featuring their very popular Open Mic. Sessions in the afternoon and The Talbot hosting Gurning Wurm with a family BBQ and hot pork & stuffing baps in the evening.
But that's not all, you can expect a big (and I mean B I G) Opera announcement with international talent. Details available soon at www.grettonmusicfestival.com
Sponsored by eggbOx, you can expect new events all the time. The up to date programme is always available at www.grettonmusicfestival.com
