We welcome back The Rutland Big Band for a unique Concert for Life in support of local Charities “ICT - Integrated Cancer Therapies” and "Cransley Hospice".

The Concert will take place on Saturday 17th November at St James Church, Gretton. Doors open 6:45 with the band starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are only available in advance from Gretton Post Office or call Andrew on 01536 771940.

Band Leader Marcus Reynolds said "We are delighted to return to Gretton to Support The Concert for Life. There's nothing quite like the sound of a live band to get your feet moving."

Matron Jo Craddock from Cransley Hospice (www.cransleyhospice.org.uk) added "The work of Cransley Hospice is only able to function and sustain the high quality level of care expected for two reasons. We have a close-knit team and we rely on local charitable donations and fund raising activities to fund our operation. I would like to thank the Concert for life for supporting us with their Big Band Concert."

Claudine Combrie Manager from Integrated Cancer Therapies (www.integratedcancertherapies.org.uk) said “I would like to thank The Rutland Big Band and organisers of the Concert for Life for your amazing support. It is very humbling to see so many people who feel the work we do is close to their hearts”.

The Rutland Big Band (www.rutlandbigband.org.uk ) will keep the night lively with old swing favourites and jazz numbers which include popular tunes from the 40s swing era such as "Moonlight Serenade" and "American Patrol" through "Rock Around The Clock" to things like "Copacabana", "Sir Duke" and "Moondance".

ICT provide support and complementary therapies for people of Northamptonshire who are living with cancer and for their carers.

Cransley Hospice provides hospice and palliative care services for the population of north Northamptonshire.

Listen to the Rutland Big Band live!

Cransley Hospice are a Registered Charity Number 1052867. Integrated Cancer Therapies are a Registered Charity Number 1134911.
