The Blue Bell Inn in the High Street is hosting a Gretton Music Festival preview on Saturday & Sunday 28th & 29th of July.
Said Jim Caulfield "We thought of having a dry run for the Music Festival and then realised how in wrong that would sound. So we're holding a preview."
"We've invited The Lazy Alligators on Saturday 28th at 8pm. This will be the the sixth time this year for the Alligators and every time they've been a sell out! The village loves them."
Sunday will feature Gretton's very own Elle Roberts (pictured). "I've added a dozen new songs to my set and really enjoyed singing them at the Jubilee Street Party in June." Said Elle, "I will be performing on Sunday afternoon starting at 4pm and look forward to seeing everyone again in the Bell."
Jim concluded with "I am delighted to welcome both Elle & The Alligators and will have some new real ales for everyone to try." Jim closed "As always admission is free to all our gigs and everyone is welcome. I guarantee you great music, great beer and great company. See you all at the end of July."
The Gretton Music Festival 2012, sponsored by eggbOx Graphics, will feature the widest range of performances ever seen in one festival. It takes place over August Bank Holiday spanning four days with concerts from Friday 24th August through to Monday 27th August. For more information visit www.grettonmusicfestival.com
