JUST ANNOUNCED! Hot from the Proms.... to the Gretton Music Festival 2011

It has just been announced that Opera singers Deborah Hawksley (Mezzo Soprano) and Alison Charlton-West (Soprano) will be performing at the Gretton Music Festival “Opera for All Summer Gala Concert” on Sunday 28th August at St James Church Gretton, Northamptonshire. 
  
Deborah Hawksley is a principal artist with English National Opera, The New D’Oyly Carte Opera, London City Opera and Scottish Opera. She also appears regularly throughout Europe in an annual series of Last Night of The Proms concerts. 

Alison Charlton-West was a principal soloist with the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company, touring with them throughout the UK and America. She also appears with the London City Opera and is a regular Oratorio soloist with many of the most prestigious choral societies in the country. 

There are more soloists to be announced shortly. 
 
There won't be any tickets for sale on the door for this event, so, if you want to be assured of a seat for you and your friends would you please let Martin know as soon as possible how many you would like to book. He will reserve for them for you to collect from the Gretton Post Office. 
 
The tickets are £12.50 with proceeds going to the M.S. society.

The seventh Gretton Music Festival 2016, sponsored by Seatons Solicitors, is Northamptonshire's largest community based music festival.  

Offering the widest possible range of local music, the festival takes place over August Bank Holiday spanning four days with concerts from Friday 26th August through to Monday 29th August.
