As part of the Gretton Music Festival, various events will be taking place on or around this area, which is at the heart of this picturesque Northamptonshire village.
At Lydia's Coffee Shop, adjacent to the green, Fabulous French will be kicking off the entertainment at 11am with their fun set aimed at junior members of the audience.
This will be followed by the Market Harborough Ukulele Group at 11.30am, also in Lydia's.
From 12noon until 4pm it's time for Brian Fursdon's Bus Bonanza on the Corby Radio Bus on the Village Green. There possibly hasn't been this much fun on a bus since Cliff Richard headed off on his musical Summer Holiday!
Highlights include Millstone Grit, an all-male vocal group, performing their eclectic mix of sea shanties, vintage pop and folk songs (12 noon).
At 1pm Eclipse Performing Arts take centre stage, with their singing, dancing and acting show.
From 2pm until 4pm there will be a two-hour Open Mic event, Youth BUSkers, aimed at young performers aged under 18. There will be the opportunity for eight performers to have a 15 minute set each to showcase their talents. They can either play their own instruments or bring a backing-track. The slots are available on a 'first come, first served' basis and applications need to be made as soon as possible at the Youth BUSkers page on the festival's website.
In addition, there will be a beer tent from The Hatton Arms, a barbeque and plenty of fun and games for all ages.
Gretton Music Festival - taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Friday 22nd August to Monday 25th August - is Northamptonshire's biggest community-based music festival.
Now in its fifth year, the festival's overall sponsor is Seaton's Solicitors.
